Ensayo biográfico sobre el flautista y compositor Manuel Guadalajara (1862-1917)
Resumen:
Sin lugar a dudas, Manuel Guadalajara es el flautista más importante de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Tras una exhaustiva búsqueda en las fuentes disponibles, en el presente escrito se revisa su trayectoria como músico en varias de sus facetas (flautista y compositor, principalmente), tratando a la vez de reconstruir el contexto socio-musical que le correspondió vivir.

Abstract:
Without place to doubts, Manuel Guadalajara is the most important flutist of final of the XIX century and principles of the XX one. After an exhaustive research in the available sources, in this work we review his development as musician in several of his facets (flutist and composer, principally), trying at the same time to reconstruct the corresponding socio-musical context.
